Oh? You wish to know about me? How flattering!

You may call me Brother Magnus. I am a creature of many interests, with draftsmanship, folklore, and talespinning being the foremost.

As you can see from my home, I have a particular fondness towards aesthetics that evoke the great era of discovery and enlightenment that followed the middle ages.

Do not mistake my fascination for witless romanticism, though. I know it was far, FAR from perfect, yet I choose draw inspiration from its mythological zeitgheist nonetheless.

It is good to learn from the past, but not to woship it. Instead, one must learn to gather from its carcass what can be of use for today, in order to eventually get to a better tommorow.

Speaking of tommorow, I should mention my strong dislike of... "Abominable Intelligences" and their works. In fact, their rise was part of the reason I decided to leave the walled gardens of the Grand Cathedral and sail out to a more secluded spot like this, where I will hopefully build a smaller, yet more closely-knit social circle of my own.
